Position: Lead React Engineer with Generative AI experience

Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office, No Remote)

Duration: Full Time

Role Overview: As a Lead React Engineer, you will leverage your deep technical skills and experience to design, develop, and implement high-impact solutions. Your expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Generative AI will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our business-critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI specialists, to integrate advanced AI functionalities into our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development Efforts: Oversee and guide the development team in designing, building, and deploying scalable and efficient applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Generative AI Integration: Apply knowledge of Generative AI to enhance application functionality and improve user experiences. Collaborate with AI experts to integrate AI-driven features and optimize performance.
  • Technical Design and Implementation: Develop and implement high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code. Ensure that solutions align with architectural and design principles.
  • CI/CD Practices: Utilize CI/CD pipelines and tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. Ensure robust and automated workflows for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and AI researchers, to gather requirements, understand needs, and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
  • Code Quality and Testing: Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Utilize testing frameworks and tools to maintain high standards of reliability and performance.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide guidance on technical challenges and professional development.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Generative AI: Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and their application in software development.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Harness, and Sonar.
  • Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Desirable Skills:

  • UI/UX Design: Understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers.
  • Micro Frontend: Familiarity with micro frontend architectures and their implementation.
