In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or its equivalent3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environmentKnowledge of Publix's part procurement practicesStrong knowledge of maintenance practices and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics for all equipment and systemsAbility to solve problems and troubleshootAbility to multi-task and demonstrate time management skills (plan, organize and follow-through on tasks)Project management skills and the ability to manage projects using time and resource managementAbility to teach others how to use manuals, blueprints, and schematics Ability to analyze information and dataInterpersonal skillsAbility to communicate both verbally and in written formatAbility to work independently and be a self-starterBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft ProjectIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP)Knowledge of power and electrical systems and controlsKnowledge of manufacturing plant or distribution warehousing facilitiesKnowledge of safety pertaining to construction and maintenanceKnowledge of food safety practices and regulations if working in a food manufacturing facilityPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of computer electronics, ladder logic, and electrical control systems, including programmable logic control systems.
