Description

Responsibilities include:

* Facilitating and maintaining the PM program (routine) for the maintenance department
* Planning, scheduling, and coordinating of non-routine work and repairs and
* Configuring new and maintaining existing operations, equipment and processes.

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or its equivalent
* 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
* Knowledge of Publix's part procurement practices
* Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics for all equipment and systems
* Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot
* Ability to multi-task and demonstrate time management skills (plan, organize and follow-through on tasks)
* Project management skills and the ability to manage projects using time and resource management
* Ability to teach others how to use manuals, blueprints, and schematics
* Ability to analyze information and data
* Interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format
* Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP)
* Knowledge of power and electrical systems and controls
* Knowledge of manufacturing plant or distribution warehousing facilities
* Knowledge of safety pertaining to construction and maintenance
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations if working in a food manufacturing facility

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of computer electronics, ladder logic, and electrical control systems, including programmable logic control systems. This also includes knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and high voltage equipment.
