Receives prescriptions and refill requests and verifies that information is complete and accurate
Processes prescriptions using third party insurance billing
Answers telephone calls and assists facilities and patients with questions and refers them to the pharmacist for medication information as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ months experience in pharmacy technician role
Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician registration.
Preferred:
Technician training certificate of completion from an accredited institution/college or signed certificate of completion from an employer preferred.
Prior experience in LTC pharmacy
