We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, negotiation strategies, and supply chain optimization. The Position will report to the Purchasing Manager and will help oversee all aspects of procurement activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities :1.

Implementation of procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budgetary requirements.2.

Source, evaluate, and aid in the selecting of suppliers and vendors, ensuring high-quality products/services at competitive prices3.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers/vendors to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.4.

Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.5.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and estimating to support procurement initiatives and resolve any issues.6.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.7.

Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation to streamline processes and ensure consistency.8.

Lead or participate in procurement-related projects, such as supplier consolidation, product standardization, or process automation.9.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.Requirements :1.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.2.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.3.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and achieving cost savings targets.4.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive favorable outcomes.5.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.6.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.7.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with external partners.8.

Demonstrated leadership qualities, including team management, coaching, and decision-making abilities.9.

Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CIPS) are desirable.
