Position overview: Archera is looking for a Senior Accountant, with strong attention to detail who can build the plane while flying it. As we upgrade and redefine our financial system landscape, you will partner with our Controller to support growth at Archera by accurately processing and reconciling transactions in adherence to US GAAP while looking for opportunities to build scalable processes. This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity and compliance at Archera. What you’ll do: Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions of Archera, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations. Maintain state business licenses. Prepare and file state tax returns. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for all entities in accordance with GAAP. Proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvement. Work collaboratively with the Controller to develop and implement scalable solutions. Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls, policies, and procedures and the related documentation and record-keeping compliance. Respond to inbound departmental inquiries and ad-hoc analysis. Support internal and external audit requirements. Collaborate with other teams at Archera to support strategic business initiatives, which may involve the creation of new accounting procedures and internal controls. Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills. Who you are: BA/BS in Accounting Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in lending, BNPL, banking, and/or cloud Solid understanding of US GAAP ERP experience preferred (NetSuite or similar) Team player, proactive, strong analytical skills and able to work independently Dedicated, reliable, quick to learn, and problem solver Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail Strong work ethic, capacity to get things done independently, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment Archera is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
