Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Purchasing Job Type Full-time Travel 10 - 20% Job Description **Job Objective:** Source, plan and purchase raw materials, MRO, services and capital equipment items in support of on-going business requirements.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Plans and purchases a variety of raw materials and services in support of day to day manufacturing operations utilizing Oracle and other supply chain tools.

* Ability to function in a Buyer/Planner capacity. Responsible for monitoring raw material inventory consumption activity, plan and purchase future requirements and manage re-supply programs. Prepares and presents Inventory management reports.

* Establish appropriate inventory levels to support turns and service goals

* Demonstrates experience in supplier development, including partnering with existing suppliers while developing new supplier relationships.

* Responsible for negotiating and crafting supply agreements that include quality, performance and pricing considerations.

* Resolves supplier invoice discrepancies by interfacing with Receiving, Accounts Payable and Suppliers.

* Resolves supplier quality and or performance issues in conjunction with Supplier Quality Assurance Department

**Job Qualifications:**

4-year college degree

C.P.M. desirable

5 years of diversified purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment

Six-Sigma experience a plus.

Extensive working knowledge of Oracle ERP desired.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets

Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to sourcing and supplier development

Textile and/or plastic molding experience a plus.

- MRO and capital equipment purchasing experience a plus.
