Clinical Social Media Manager

MDCalc is seeking dedicated and skilled part-time clinicians to join our team. As a clinical social media manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute in various areas, and we are open to candidates with a mix of skills.

As the Social Media Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance MDCalc's online presence within the medical community.

Responsibilities could include -

Content Creation and Curation:

Develop engaging and relevant content for MDCalc's social media platforms. Curate and share content from authoritative sources in the medical field to keep our audience informed and engaged.

Community Engagement:

Foster and maintain relationships with key influencers, healthcare professionals, and MedEd communities across various social media channels. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms to build a positive and interactive online community.

Campaign Management:

Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote MDCalc's products, features, and educational resources. Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies.

Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content. Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Stay Abreast of Trends:

Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and advancements in the MedEd space to ensure MDCalc remains at the forefront of online engagement.

Requirements :

Medical professional (MD, DO, Pharmacist, PA, NP, RN) with at least 5 years of practice (including residency). Proficiency in and passion for evidence based medicine. Past publication experience (we’ll consider a lot - we want to see initiative, ability to drive forward and own projects, and interest in academic medicine) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a focus on medical content.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in medical content creation and review. Established network within the medical community. Previous involvement with medical societies or associations. Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies.
