As a member of an agile feature delivery team the primary focus of this role is to bring quality leadership and insight which informs business and technical decisions during feature delivery. Our automation developer team members develop and own the testing plan, strategy, and framework for all feature projects. As our QA Automation Engineer you will:

Be the voice of quality on the team. You will represent your team, your role, and your purpose - quality - on your Agile team. Be articulate. Be focused. You will test and merge new features into the main development line. Be detail oriented. You will maintain all automated test suites as well as their documentation. Be curious. What you'll need to be successful as a QA Automation Engineer:

2 years of experience in API testing and API test automation using tools like Postman. 2 years of experience authoring tests in frameworks like RSpec, Jest, or Nightwatch.js. Experience and understanding with at least one programming language like JavaScript. Experience testing components hosted in AWS or other cloud services. Experience working with Jenkins or other pipeline solutions. A passion for Agile methodology but the flexibility to think outside the scrum. You can think on your feet, collaborate with your team and others, and you enjoy taking ownership for your work. A curious nature. You want to understand the process behind the decisions, the why of the design, and the nature of the application. New and shiny things can be fun, but you’re interested in learning how new technologies, tools and methodologies would work for us. A desire to put your best foot forward. You want to be part of a team dedicated to creating and delivering quality software. Outstanding communication. This is not a heads-down role. You will be working with a team that innovates together, out loud. And you will need to listen, engage, and present to external teams and senior project managers in a confident manner. Pride.
