Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Oversees the Birth Registration process of live birth and fetal death according to North Carolina Birth Registration Records for Vital Statistics.
  • Ensures that all necessary information is collected, accurately transcribed completed and filed with local registrar.
  • The birth registration clerk must make a record of all the personal and statistical information relative to the patients of their institution and is required by vital statistics laws.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Notary Public must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Required Education: High School Graduate
  • Required Experience: Word processing, secretarial and computer skills are essential for this position
