Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to conduct the ongoing business of the care center to assure that the resident's highest quality of life and level of care is maintained. Responsible for all business operations, including management of the assets of the care center; hiring, training, promotion, discipline and termination of employees; and for establishing and maintaining the business organization and structure to efficiently conduct the management functions of the care center. Plan for and administer programs providing service in accordance with the care center's stated mission and purpose in such a manner that optimum results are achieved in relation to the resources of the care center.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is necessary. A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required
- Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State
- Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long term care center
