WHAT YOU'll DO:

  • Source products for needed applications at Network Corporate Account Customers
  • Provide Corporate Account customers and CADS with market-competitive costs
  • Provide cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities for Network Corporate Account Customers
  • Analyze customer product mix and volume, make recommendations for improved cost and application savings.
  • Conduct supplier RFP's for Network Corporate accounts to maximize contract costs, ensuring margin enhancement.
  • Lead SKU rationalization initiatives to achieve desired results for CA customers and distributors.
  • Participate in Corporate Account customer calls and strategy sessions
  • Utilize knowledge of supply chain "best" practices and processes and recommend alternative value added solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of supplier and customer MOQ's to ensure the distributor is optimizing purchases quantities for servicing Network Corporate Account customers.
  • Promote a collaborative atmosphere within NETWORK and the Category Development team. Assist and share knowledge with others to enhance department growth.

  • Demonstrate project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Skilled at identifying problems and developing solutions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers and other employees with the organization
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven experience of high level project management
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Work History Requirements:
    • Minimum 5+ years of merchandising or supply chain experience including product sourcing and product sales analysis
    • Purchasing and/or distribution background required
  • Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in business or finance preferred
    • If no college degree, then minimum 5+ years of equivalent and directly relevant work experience
