Challenging the norm and innovating better methods is core to our approach.The position of Sr. EHS Coordinator will assist the Director of EHS with the responsibility of the development, oversight, training, and operational administration of safety policies, procedures, and work practices of the Landmark EHS Management System. Reporting to the Director of EHS, the Sr. EHS Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe behaviors and conditions, developing measures to ensure employee safety, and mitigating risk. You will ensure that the appropriate safety plans, policies, and procedures are in place and followed company wide. In coordination with Director of EHS, you will be responsible for accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action. Other tasks include creating and maintaining safety compliance audits, and implementing safety training, including federal and state required OSHA training. You will ensure Landmark meets overall safety objectives and maintains compliance with internal procedures, federal, state and local laws.Essential Functions:Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the EHS Management SystemAssess the Landmark EHS Management System, reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness of the respective policies and proceduresEnsure that safety and health issues are routinely discussed by all levels of managementPrepare all reports required by the company and by lawConduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with the Landmark EHS Management SystemProvide program administration to ensure that a safe, healthy, and secure work environment exists for employees and the public, including persons with disabilities, and that the public is protected from harm in connection with operation of the projectPerform safety orientations and training for employees and subcontractorsFoster a safe and secure work environment that has zero tolerance for violence, threats, harassment, and intimidation in the workplaceTravel to sites to conduct periodic safety inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, and document the resultsInvestigate and document all occupational injuries leading the root cause analysis, corrective actions, as well as preventative efforts for the future. Ensure that hazard assessments are completed for each task, and, as a result of the assessment, crewmembers are provided with the necessary equipment and training to safely perform job functionsRespond to employees' safety concernsMaintain knowledge of up-to-date industry safety issues, trends, regulatory changes, etc.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a field related to the essential functions of this position.Minimum of five (5) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.Experience in the development of a safety program in a construction or related environment.Exposure to construction and/or manufacturing production environments from a safety aspect.
