**_Check out this HOT new role_** **Senior Product Manager** Location: Tempe, AZ - hybrid (2 days/week) - candidates MUST be local Start: ASAP Contract Length: 12 months, likely to extend Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour (depending on experience) The Product Development team is within the Customer Program organization at company, and is responsible for designing and implementing customer-facing programs that help our residential and commercial customers better manage their energy and meet sustainability goals. Areas of focus include energy efficiency, demand response, electric vehicles and electrification. The Product Manager role is responsible for the development and management of customer facing products/programs from inception to sunsetting. This role includes understanding our residential and commercial customers’ needs, assessing the market trends and the technical viability of various products/programs, preparing the product/program design and developing the business case. It also includes identifying and selecting third-party partners to implement the offer, and providing ongoing management of the product/program to ensure it meets customer needs and company's established objectives throughout the program life cycle. **Job Responsibilities:** Oversee the product / program lifecycle from concept inception to sunset of the program, including conducting market research, building business strategies, developing performance objectives and outcome-based roadmaps. Participate in defining the strategic vision, product roadmaps, product prioritization, execution and product support for desired customer solutions. Understand competitive marketplace and market drivers that motivate customers, trade allies, and other market actors to purchase and participate in company's products and programs. Prepare product / program plans, design products, programs and processes, and conduct analyses in accordance with established customer and market needs, and company requirements. Identify and secure the services of third-party partners and program implementors and actively manage their performance to ensure product / programs deliver intended results. Leverage company's corporate strategies to set alignment with priorities and deliver continuous improvement and workflow across multiple teams. Manage all aspects of the product / program performance, including financial, risk, operations and business performance. Experience in identifying new and existing customer/business requirements/needs, and formulating and implementing corresponding solutions while working with internal and third-party partners for rapid piloting and product / program launches. Possess product management and development experience in defining, developing, launching, implementing and supporting customer programs and products. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to handoff for internal development of qualified concepts. Collaborate and partner with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, IT, customer service and external partners/implementers to prepare for product launch. Develop commercial business models and business cases to evaluate product opportunities. Facilitate collaboration between internal and external stakeholders in building consensus around common objectives for product offerings. Leader in customer collaboration across all stages of work. Ensures customer needs are consistently met. Think proactively and identify new opportunities and optimize existing solutions and product offerings to meet evolving customer needs and requirements. Utilize strategic business acumen and leverage product / program data analytics to make decisions to enhance product / program performance and delivery. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Sustainability or other related field preferred. **Experience:** 5 years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering program results and outstanding customer experiences. Preferred candidate would possess the following skills and qualifications: Strong product or program management skills, with experience managing third-party vendors or consultants Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams with internal and external stakeholders A customer-focused mentality and desire to want to drive an exceptional customer experience Technical background in the fields of sustainability, building science, and or energy management Analytical mindset that tracks progress, develops data-driven insights, and evaluates opportunities for improvement Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills **Pay Details:** $45.00 to $60.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
