Job Description:
+ Responsible for providing project oversight and communication with clients on that specific project.
+ Perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations.
+ Grow and manage relationships with local clients.
+ Mentor less experienced staff in substation project execution.
+ Perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations including one-line diagrams, three line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, proposal development, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling.
+ Ensure quality procedures are followed and that the team is resourced in an optimal manner.
+ Perform QA/QC for deliverables to clients across multiple offices.
+ Manage all schedule, budget, and quality of assigned projects.
Skills Needed:
+ You should have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
+ Understanding project budgets and working well in teams is essential.
+ Experience in the Power & Utilities industry.
+ 5-7 years of experience in substation engineering and P&C (Protection & Control) or Physical systems.
+ Familiarity with equipment like MCC (Motor Control Centers) and Switchgear is a plus.
