Job Position:Senior Account ManagerLocation: Irving, TexasEmployment Type: Full-timeBenefits: Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401KBusiness: Freight Brokerage CompanySenior Account Manager Job DescriptionAs a Senior Account Manager, you will play an integral part in maintaining and growing positive client relationships by coordinating daily shipment requests through phone and email, confidently solving any issues that arise and proactively communicating issues or discrepancies. You will develop a profound understanding of both the fluctuating shipping market and how to navigate Giltner's technology.Senior Account Manager ResponsibilitiesManage existing key account relationships and offer solutions based on shipping patterns and needsConfidently problem solve any issues, such as a missed pick up, late delivery, damaged freight or incorrect billingProactively communicate any issues to the clientCoordinate all daily shipments through phone and emailEnsure accuracy and timeliness of billing while proactively notifying client of any changesPartner with other departments across Giltner to track shipments, resolve any discrepancies and file claims completely and correctly in a timely mannerSenior Account Manager QualificationsThree to five years of industry experienceStrong communication skills, both written and verbalCalm under pressureSuperior business acumenKnowledgeable on relevant modes of transportationTeam player mentalityStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage large amounts of informationMust have a transferable book of businessWhat We OfferCompetitive wages plus commissionOpportunity for Professional & Personal GrowthMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401KFlexible Spending AccountAflacPTOWho We AreWe are Growing Giltner Logistics is an asset-backed third-party logistics provider that offers a unique solution for its customers.
