POSITION: Speech Language Pathologist - Leonard Kirtz School

FULL -TIME AND PART -TIME AVAILABLE

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
(include but not limited to the following):

* Must hold School Speech-Language Pathologist certificate/license, as required by the Ohio Department of Education.

DUTIES (include but not limited to the following):

* Conduct evaluation and treatment of students with speech and language disorders.
* Provide evaluation and treatment for swallowing and eating difficulties. * Plan and implement goals based on assessments.
* Provide speech and language assessments and hearing information as needed for the Evaluation Team Report (ETR). Develop and implement goals based on assessments.
* Implement IEPs in collaboration with team members. Provide direction and training to intervention specialists, assistants, therapists, family and community members.
* Develop an individualized communication system. Evaluate use and access of adaptive communication devices in collaboration with team members.
* Document student progress. Evaluate students' progress quarterly and attend parents' conferences.
* Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity & contributing to an inclusive working environment.
* Ability to engage others with understanding & empathy.

SALARY: as per CBA

HOURS: Full time: 35 hour week, flexible and variable
(Normally 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday)

Part time: 21 hour work week, 3 days a week
