Director, Warehouse Operations who will be responsible for leading critical growth and improvement efforts across our warehouse operations within the Americas region. This role will define, develop, and execute strategic initiatives in the areas of safety, facilities and warehousing, labor planning, inventory management and WMS implementation. This leader will work in a highly matrixed environment and their success will require a strong partnership with corporate, regional, and local leadership.

Key Accountabilities :

* Lead strategic initiatives that directly contribute to P&L performance via cost savings, warehouse operational efficiencies and process improvements across the network.

* Partner with safety ambassadors and leadership to enhance our safety culture. Standardize core safety programs and develop awareness and engagement with employees in support of accident prevention.

* Develop and/or enhance warehouse operations training programs.

* Develop a real estate strategy integrating both the immediate operational needs as well as the long-term plan and network strategy. Define and optimize space requirements. Lead transactions across all BUs including new leases and renewals.

* Assess technology needs and play a lead role in the warehouse management system (WMS) selection and implementation.

* Partner with corporate, regional, and local leadership to develop, present, and achieve the annual operation/warehouse plan and metrics.

* Model the Berlin Values and serve as a champion for The Berlin Culture as defined in the employer and employee portions of the T-Chart.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* Bachelors degree in a business-related discipline required or equivalent experience.

* 8+ years of experience with demonstrated success managing warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and/or operations.

* Proven ability to formulate and execute company-wide policies and processes.

* Strong business and financial acumen

* Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills; can influence without authority and partner across functions.

* Results oriented; has passion for building winning teams, developing talent, and contributing to a positive, high-performance culture.
