Sr. Electrical Test EngineerLocation: Lafayette, COJob ID: #69223Pay Range: $55-64The Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites..Required Skill Sets:•BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar•5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience from board to sub-system and system level•Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a must.•Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design.•Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool.•Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific•Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus - including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval.•Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) a•Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.Desired Skill Sets:•Act as an interface between the electrical engineering team and the systems team by leveraging a solid electrical engineering foundation to help develop system level solutions to difficult technical challenges.•Work with representatives from a variety of engineering discipline to develop trade studies, architecture proposals, and operation plans for satellite Perform detailed and data driven analysis to help guide design decisions.•Review and provide feedback on subsystem designs to ensure the vehicle is robust and meets all electrical requirements at the system level.
