The Position
The Interim Manager of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of a surgical unit with 5 ORs.
Reporting to the System Director, Perioperative Services, this leader will oversee a team of 24 FTEs.
This leader will undertake a comprehensive review of department policies, implementing necessary updates to ensure relevance and effectiveness. They will dedicate efforts towards fostering robust relationships with both staff and physicians, aiming to dismantle any existing barriers. Finally, they will focus on developing and executing process improvement strategies, guaranteeing that the department operates at the peak of its capabilities.
Ideal candidates will possess a growth-oriented mindset and a passion for project management. Candidates will need to be naturally personable, and embody kindness in their interactions, and have the ability to mentor staff with both insight and empathy. A collaborative approach is essential, as we value team players who can work harmoniously to achieve shared goals.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
Bachelors degree required.
Active RN license required.
Previous healthcare experience required.

The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
