Performs and oversees engineering planning and design assignments at key stages of projects. Oversees the technical work, provides technical guidance, and mentoring of entry- and intermediate-level engineers Analyzes complex problems, modifies methods, procedures, processes and proposes new alternative solutions. Leads the preparation and coordination of project deliverables including contract documents. Responsible for the review and sealing of contract deliverables. Perform independent technical and quality reviews. Exercises initiative and independent judgment in adapting and applying procedures to address unusual situations and to resolve issues. Ensures Stantec’s engineering and design procedures and guidelines are consistently and correctly applied on projects, with an eye toward continuous improvement. Consistently executes safe work practices and work plans while completing field and office work.
