As a Logistics Specialist you will:
Manage relationships with and execute decisions regarding needs of customer
Arrange domestic and international import/export shipments via air, trucking, ocean
Maintain and cultivate customer and vendor relationships
Follow-up with shippers and consignees to ensure quality and timeliness of shipments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic freight forwarder knowledge
Air export experience; quoting, booking, documentation
Ability to learn software programs quickly and adeptly
Solid customer service skills
Sharp organizational along with attention to detail and prioritization skills
MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Strong ability to handle time-sensitive issues
Teamwork oriented
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Pass a security background check
Operations/Logistics experience (1-3 years preferred)
Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver’s license
