Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance and Accounting Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in a wide range of finance and accounting roles, from entry-level accountants to senior financial executives. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and ensure the best candidates are matched to their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job specifications and requirements for finance and accounting roles.
- Proactively source candidates through online platforms, networking, referrals, and job postings.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, coordinating interviews and managing the selection process.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality finance and accounting professionals.
- Negotiate offers and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
- Stay current on trends in the finance and accounting industry, particularly in hiring and compensation.
- Maintain up-to-date records of candidate interactions and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Participate in recruitment marketing activities and attend relevant networking events or job fairs.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment metrics, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the finance and accounting sector.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting roles, skills, and qualifications.
- Excellent sourcing skills using various recruitment tools (LinkedIn, job boards, ATS, etc.).
- Ability to build relationships with candidates and clients, with a focus on long-term collaboration.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience recruiting for roles such as Financial Analyst, CPA, Accountant, Controller, and CFO.
- Familiarity with industry-specific certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) and requirements.
- Experience with HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
