About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Continuing and Professional Studies. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader, responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, providing strategic leadership for programmatic, budgetary, and enrollment planning, and building collaborations across the institution. The Dean will also be tasked with enhancing educational and operational excellence, advancing systemwide strategic priorities, and fostering relationships with external stakeholders to assess workforce needs and expand learning and career opportunities for students. Anchored in the values of access, learning, inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence, the College empowers lifelong learners and embraces a learner-centered environment that values diverse ideas, backgrounds, and identities.Applicants for the Dean position must have a terminal degree and a record of progressive leadership experience, with a significant background in a complex enterprise. A collaborative leadership style, a proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the continuing and professional education landscape, both nationally and globally, and a demonstrated interest in university-based professional, continuing, and online education. Experience in resource development, fundraising, fiscal management, and enrollment planning is highly desirable, as is a track record of successful academic and organizational leadership. The Dean should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build and sustain productive academic collaborations, and a leadership approach that values collaboration, trust, and empowerment.
