The Manager, Risk Management is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive risk analyses covering all facets of insurance and risk management programs. It sets appropriate policies and procedures to manage risk and control losses related to the company’s property, casualty, and financial/executive risk programs. The manager is responsible for the identification of exposure limits, ensuring adequate insurance coverage across all lines of business, and managing the company’s overall claims management process. We are open to remote based candidates for this opportunity, however with the collaborative nature of this role, candidates based in the Eastern/Central time zone and/or Columbus, OH are preferred. Reports To: Director, Treasury & Risk Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review risk management data and manages procurement for insurance renewals, insurance policy audits, and the collection and maintenance of policy underwriting information Manage the overall claims process and administration of claims related to the company’s property, casualty, and financial/executive risk programs Provide a methodology to identify and analyze the financial impact of loss to the organization Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of records including insurance policies, claims, and loss experience Manage the review of major contracts, proposed facilities, and/or new program activities for loss and insurance implications Communicate with internal business partners including Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Innovation/Growth, Stores, Distribution Centers, IT, and Asset Protection Manage relationships and communication with key external parties including insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators Review risk management accounting related monthly/quarterly activity including journal entries and reconciliations Manage and analyze the budget/projection process related to the company’s property, casualty, and financial/executive risk programs Analyzes variances to forecast and collaborate with necessary parties across all business units to resolve Leverages the broader Treasury Team to assist with duties and responsibilities Challenges status quo and make recommendations for process improvements Member of Crisis Communication Team and sub-committees for specific risks or pandemics Required Skills: Knowledge of basic insurance coverage and claims management Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proven ability to work as part of a team Organizational and deadline-management skills Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Education: BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or related area #J-18808-Ljbffr
