Job Summary: The Corporate Café's Food Service Associate provides cashiering duties to include receiving checks, cash, credit card transactions and accounts for monies collected. Position will also aid in breakdown and sanitation of salad bar, as well as assisting in any needs of facility and maintain service areas during times of meal service.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain a positive attitude; create an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
  • Generate a positive, friendly, and fun working environment with a customer first initiative by greeting and speaking to customers, provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
  • Prepare and produce "Quality" food & products to meet or exceed our customer & company expectations.
  • Scan and ring customer orders according to company policy.
  • Know and follow policies and procedures for debit card/credit card/gift card transactions.
  • Follow company policy for proper use of assigned till.
  • Take inventory as directed by manager.
  • Food Service Associates should expect to be cross trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities including, but not limited to, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down salad bar, assisting in daily preparation of product for both on-site and off-site services, assisting in dining area daily maintenance, follow proper cleaning procedures and sanitation for workstation and dining areas, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in making sure that all package products for self-service are in proper package with correct weights and ingredients.
  • Follow company Food Safety program.
  • Assist in stocking and proper rotation of products.
  • Responsible for attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies through regular attendance.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Food Service, preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals daily.
  • Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
