Then look no further, as this may be the opportunity for you LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join one of our clients in the Tukwila, WA area. This role will have a focus in managing the month-end close, while reviewing, overseeing, and mentoring a developing team. Responsibilities: Oversee standard accounting operations, including AP, GL activities, month-end close, fixed assets, and other typical responsibilities within the accounting department Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness Manage, mentor, and review work of 3-5 direct reports Assist with preparation of budgets and various reports Analyze financial data and provide feedback and recommendations to upper leadership Help manage and oversee the annual external audit process Work cross-functionally with other departments as needed to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Other ad hoc reports, projects, and duties as assigned Required Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Public/Private mix desired) 1+ year of leadership and/or review experience preferred ERP system and accounting software experience Highly Preferred: CPA/MBA desired Public accounting experience Consolidations experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of US GAAP Excellent written and verbal communication skills Driven, self-starter and team player with excellent interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Great time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Employment Type:
