Sr. Account Manager East Coast

OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Sr. Account Manager to join our GRW Bearings team to provide technical ball bearing support to the US sales team and customer base. This person will primarily be responsible for negotiating and administering a variety of sales contracts, using independent discretion and judgment. They will be expected to prepare quotes and orders for customers and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, they will manage the information necessary for processing customer orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Negotiates contracts with customers regarding price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions, ensuring that terms are acceptable to management. Negotiates changes or modifications to contract when requested by customer.

Interprets and responds to customer and Field Representatives questions or requests for information. Designs proposals and quotes and reports status. Resolves customer issues appropriately and refers issues to supervision when necessary.

Track and maintain record of historical usage and forecast thoroughly and accruately.

Maintains relationship with accounts, communicates activities, provides reports to customers and department. Handles customer inquiries and complaints. Solves problems that arise in the performance of the contract.

Researches historical data, cost substantiation and market analysis to suggest price.

Prepares documents for quotes, orders, changes, letters, spreadsheets, presentations and reports.

Coordinates customer / field sales efforts with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Contract Review departments.

Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.

Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes and procedures. Contributes to 5 S programs in work area.

Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.

Performs other duties as assigned. Accomplishes related results as needed.

QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.

Experience:

5+ years in Technical Sales/Application Engineering/Customer Service/ environment

Aerospace industry environment is preferred.
