This Senior Program Manager - Program Management Lead reports directly into the Director of Service Enablement and is responsible for transforming the Snowflake Global Support (SGS) teams program management framework and methods to meet the growing needs of our customers and employees. This includes maturing program management processes, assets, governance, and tools that will enable our program managers and leadership team to manage programs in a way that focuses on business outcomes.

This critical role is focused on enabling SGS to optimize the experience for our customer base.

  • Manages the development and implementation of program management standards for the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of programs and projects.
  • Manages day-to-day operations of the program management program to ensure programs are implemented according to those standards and communicated to key stakeholders using change management best practices.
  • Establish owners per business area and collaborate effectively to champion the adoption of program management practices.

Develop and evaluate success metrics to measure program outcomes and their alignment with our strategic initiatives.

  • Partner with IT and other cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and implement technology solutions to enable program management standards and governance where synergies apply.
  • Mentors other program managers in program management skills and career development.
  • May lead critical projects and programs that require cross-functional collaboration.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • A bachelor's degree or business or equivalent 6-10 years work experience.
  • 7 + years of program management experience leading technology programs.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and improving program management standards across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Program Management Professional certification required. ITIL certification is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes skills in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help deliver business results.
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Understanding of Data Warehouse fundamentals and concepts.
  • Excellent team player, able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams.
