Seeking an experienced and dedicated HRIS Project Analyst. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in human resources information systems (HRIS) and project management to help us streamline our HR processes and optimize our HRIS technology. The HRIS Project Analyst partners with HR leaders and their internal customers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Project Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and assist with long-term planning recommendations. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Project Analyst also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes across HR platforms based on a robust understanding of HR processes and supporting technologiesWork with internal stakeholders and partnering organizations within the broader parent company to document, test, implement and provide change management for system enhancementsCollaborate with technical staff to coordinate application of enhancements and ensures appropriate process documents and resultsAssist with HR COE projects to include requirements gathering, testing and production support to ensure system security and data qualityParticipate in HRIS system upgrades, testing, and change management processes.Suggest alternative processing techniques to meet unique business needs within a given line of business when system configuration may not fully support the unique processTake action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences and use this data to build project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources and risk managementUtilize excellent interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goalsUnderstand system integrations and work with internal and external clients/vendors to troubleshoot issues with ITAssist other team members and partnering teams with researching issues for root causes and partnering with other internal functions (Payroll, Benefits, and IT (technical and functional) as needed to achieve resolutionEstablish and execute data quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy within core HCM (SAP SuccessFactors) and downstream systems, running queries, analyzing data, highlighting issues to stakeholder and assisting them with resolution within the appropriate systemProvide production support, including researching and resolving HR system problems, unexpected results or process flawsConduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentationMaintain awareness of current trends in HR technology, continuously increasing both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledgeParticipate in user group meetings/conferencesProvide guidance and coaching to junior team membersExecute data corrections and facilitate uploads for mass transactions as neededPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:

Bachelors degree in HR, Business, IT or related field or equivalent work experience8+ years of HRIS experience with requirements determination, analysis, design, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide systems including experience within a SaaS platform2+ years of experience with SAP/SuccessFactors preferredDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, production support tasks and changing priorities within a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and handling production support needs and changing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced competency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of effective approaches for choosing a course of action and ability to develop appropriate solutions to issues that ariseAbility to work with ambiguity and determine appropriate steps to progress within the uncertaintyAbility to collaborate within a team environment, build effective relationships across organizations and deliver desired resultsDemonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
