As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain and inventory management processes, with a focus on updating and modernizing supply chain data for VA healthcare facilities. Your expertise in data reconciliation and analysis, inventory, and logistics will be instrumental in streamlining operations, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy. You will collaborate with various teams, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, to analyze supply data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance the client's supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. (Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply) Duties & Responsibilities

The essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following: Analyze supply chain data, including demand forecasting, inventory levels, and supplier performance, to identify trends, insights, and potential areas for improvement. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Production, to create supply plans that align with demand forecasts and business objectives. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics, such as lead times, delivery accuracy, and quality, and work to improve supplier relationships. Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and warehousing, to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods. Implement and maintain supply chain systems and software, ensuring accurate data input and smooth system functionality. Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs. Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations. Generate supply chain performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to present to management and stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in supply chain management and logistics. Apply new knowledge to enhance supply chain practices. Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations. To perform the associated tasks under this effort, meetings and/or conferences may be required throughout the period of performance. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Supply Chain Data Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or in a similar role, with expertise in supply chain systems and data analysis. Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting techniques. Proficiency in data analysis and experience working with supply chain management software and tools. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving process improvement and efficiency. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams and suppliers. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to supply chain management. Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other Government healthcare organization, including their supply chain systems (such as Maximo, DMLSS, etc.), is preferred.
