About the Role:
United Olive Oils marketing focus is to become a consumer-centric innovation leader, beloved brand, and growth engine for the company. We are currently building the toolkit of assets and ways of working to create highly impactful innovation, and brand-building marketing programs across multiple channels: Retail/CPG, Food Service and Specialty Grocery.

The

Brand Management Director

has an important leadership role with oversight of brand management functions including product strategies, annual marketing plans, product innovation, go-to-market activation, and customer marketing plans. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of brand management and innovation leadership experience combined with the proven ability to drive growth in multiple sales channels. Although there are currently no direct reports, given the companys growth expectations, the Brand Management Director will eventually have people management responsibilities including attracting, developing, and retaining high-performance brand management talent.

What You Will Be Doing:
Assist the CMO in developing and launching a 3-Year Pipeline of disruptive and incremental innovations
Lead product optimization initiatives (e.g. reformulations, new packaging, new flavors/sizes)
Collaborate with Sales Planning, Finance and Operations to align product portfolio/SKU management to the brand strategy and business goals
Build and execute annual marketing plans
Drive impactful omnichannel brand communication
Develop effective promotional strategies including in-store demos, digital (retail) promotions, consumer price incentives/offers
Drive traffic and growth at strategic retailers by developing Retail Shopper Marketing plans
Set and manage marketing budgets with monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations
Work effectively with all key functions Sales Planning, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Finance - to drive profitable sales

About You

Requirements:
7+ years of consumer goods brand marketing experience
Classical brand builder with a strong suite of marketing skills including product management, social media, traditional and digital advertising, customer/shopper marketing
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a balance of intuition and analytical skills
Demonstrated success leveraging consumer insights and analytics, emerging trends, POS results and competitor/category actions to identify business growth opportunities and drive share
Ability to attract and retain top talent; prior experience building and developing a high-performing team
Experience managing a global business/brand requiring cross-cultural collaboration - a plus but not a requirement
Attention-to-detail and a strong action and results driven orientation
Willingness to roll up sleeves and pitch in outside areas of your immediate responsibility to support the business
Strong collaboration skills with a high focus on teamwork and growth mindset.
Deliver high quality work with integrity and exhibit a professional and positive attitude.
