Regional Human Resources Director - Long Term Care

Job Summary:

The Regional Human Resources Director for Long Term Care is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing human resources functions across multiple long-term care facilities. This position plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Regional HR Director collaborates with facility administrators, Business office managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

Develop and implement regional HR strategies in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Collaborate with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, and retention initiatives.

Provide guidance on organizational development and change management.

Employee Relations:

Oversee employee relations activities to ensure a positive work environment and address employee concerns promptly.

Conduct investigations and provide resolution for HR-related issues.

Talent Management:

Work closely with facility administrators to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.

Implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

Drive employee development and training initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Stay informed about industry-specific regulations affecting the long-term care sector.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR policies and procedures align with legal requirements.

Benefits Administration:

Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

Performance Management:

Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.

Work with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans.

Employee Engagement:

Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale.

Develop and execute initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

Compile and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.

Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on HR-related KPIs.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree or HR certification preferred.

Proven experience in human resources leadership roles in the long-term care industry.

In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel within the designated region.
