What You'll Do

    • Product Management is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT products delivered to our customers; business associates, and consumers, from inception to retirement.
    • The job family manages the relationship between WS business functions and IT to provide IT product and user experience solutions to meet the needs of the business.
    • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
    • Develops high-level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
    • Possesses broad knowledge of technical design specifications and works with technology peers to help develop solutions
    • Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
    • Possess and may share subject-matter expertise or in-depth technical knowledge, use expertise to further development of company objectives and principles, and achieve goals in creative and effective ways
    • May provide tactical work direction to team members
    • Excellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
    • Customer-focused with high-quality standards, must possess strong presentation skills
    • Possesses solid knowledge of project management methodology
    • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills
    • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
    • Exercises strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
    • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
    • Strong decision-making capabilities will have an impact on the success of short-term group or division operational goals
    • Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group ICs/managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or internal customers
    • May interact with business leadership at all levels
    • May lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
What You Know
    • Experience serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, demonstrating the ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective product and user experience solutions.
    • Proficiency in developing high-level business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the IT organization, with a track record of effectively managing changes to specifications.
    • Possession of broad knowledge of technical design specifications, with demonstrated experience collaborating with technology peers to develop innovative solutions.
    • Strong negotiation skills, facilitating clear communication between business and IT stakeholders to reach agreements and commitments from initial requirements to final implementation.
    • Possession of subject-matter expertise or in-depth technical knowledge, utilized to advance company objectives and achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
    • Capability to provide tactical work direction to team members, fostering collaboration and alignment with project objectives.
    • Excellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology, ensuring the successful development and delivery of IT products.
    • Customer-focused with high-quality standards, possessing strong presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
    • Solid knowledge of project management methodology, applying it to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project activities.
    • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills, facilitating effective collaboration and communication within and outside the organization.
    • Ability to analyze complex issues and situations, demonstrating strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
    • Proven ability to network with key contacts outside of own expertise area, leveraging relationships to enhance project outcomes.
    • Strong decision-making capabilities with the ability to impact short-term group or division operational goals.
    • Regular interaction with customers, functional peers, and managers, addressing matters between functional areas or internal customers.
    • Potential interaction with business leadership at all levels, contributing to strategic discussions and initiatives.
    • Capability to lead cooperative efforts among project team members, driving collaboration and cohesion towards project objectives.
Education
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Compensation Band
    • $140- 145k per year
