This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a candidate with extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advanced skills in Excel to lead financial analysis and drive financial excellence in support of our growth initiatives. Responsibilities: Lead financial analysis and reporting activities, leveraging advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and develop sophisticated financial models. Ensure adherence to GAAP principles in all financial activities, including financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and financial compliance. Oversee financial due diligence processes for acquisition activities, evaluating financial statements, conducting financial forecasts, and analyzing financial risks and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support budget development, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Drive financial integration efforts during acquisition processes to consolidate financial systems, streamline financial processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting post-acquisition. Conduct in-depth financial research and analysis on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making. Mentor and guide junior finance team members, providing training and knowledge-sharing to enhance financial analysis capabilities and foster professional growth. Experience with Monthly Accounting Close processes for financial reporting, including bank reconciliation. AR/AP review. Inventory adjustments including work-in-progress (WIP). Qualifications: Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting. Strong knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication skills, leadership abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
