Smile Island Pediatric and Adult Dental GroupPosition: Orthodontic Assistant (OA)/ Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)Location: Rocklin, CASchedule: Part-time (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays) or full-time.Hours of Operation: Mondays-Thursdays 8a.m. - 5p.m. and Fridays 7:30a.m. - 3:30p.m. Smile Island is a leading private practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental and orthodontic care to children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will LOVE working with people and have the following qualifications: Great customer service skills and a passion for working with kidsMinimum 1 year as an RDA or OA preferred in orthodontic practiceMust possess an OAFun, positive, and caring attitudeTeam-orientedMust be available for full-time 5 days per week (Mon- Fri), or part-time 3 days per week schedule Mondays, Tuesdays, and FridaysResponsible, respectful, and self-motivatedJob duties include:Allowable RDA and OA duties as set forth by the Dental Board of CaliforniaAssisting the dentist/orthodontist during examinations and treatment Supporting day-to-day operations by delivering quality work and excellent patient careRecording treatment information in patient records and all pertinent medical and dental history Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipmentGreeting patients by name and preparing them for treatment with a friendly, service-centered dispositionUtilizing pano, cephs, iTero, and other approved photography tools Our office provides the following benefits: Paid vacation (full-time only)Paid Sick LeavePaid holidays (full-time only)401(k)Medical, life, and vision insurance (full-time only)Dental benefitsOpportunities for career advancement Uniforms Exciting team and community eventsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing, leaning and bendingMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesDexterity of arms, hands, and fingers to handle dental toolsSpecific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusMust be physically able to administer CPRPay range is $24 - $33 depending on experience and credentials
