What Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. The Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing team is responsible for managing customer requirements at a tactical level. Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing ensures the right quantity of products arrive in the right place, at the right time and cost by using a Warehouse Inventory System. Job Summary The Sr Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the Inbound and Outbound operations and manage the workload for the direct reports. The ideal candidate will have to be highly organized, a relationship builder, team player and high sense of urgency. Responsibilities Performs data entry activities to capture information in the system, vendors and products data in accordance with industry regulations. Produces and audits reports for consistency and integrity of data. Maintains intercompany prices in the system. Communicates with inventory analysts and sales team to gather missing information. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Supply Chain Mgmt. or Business Administration) desired. 2 or more years of experience in operations coordination. Proficient experience in SAP.
