Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Job

Solutions Inc., Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the transfer of products and process technologies from R&D to Manufacturing. Your expertise will contribute to the organization's operational efficiency and overall

success.Responsibilities

Design Transfer:

As a member of the project team, you will work closely with R&D, Manufacturing Engineers and Quality to transfer products to manufacturing. You will lead the design transfer process and ensure all activities are being completed per the project plan and that all processes are production-ready. You will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet business needs while enhancing process safety, quality, and productivity. You will support all process validation activities (e.g., development and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ) Create validation plans, protocols and reports. As part of the project team, you will be responsible for leading the pFMEA process.

Process Support and Improvement:

Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to investigate production issues to improve production throughput and yields. You must possess a modern understanding of new technologies, commercial fabrication techniques, etc. Develop processes for prototype and pilot production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in coordination with R&D and Quality functions. Train manufacturing personnel to newly developed processes.

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for manufacturing processes and equipment. Identify alternative suppliers as needed.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including R&D, quality and manufacturing, to understand their needs.

Other:

Accept other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or Senior Engineer. Identify technical risks, resource problems and work arounds.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline. Minimum of 2 years of experience in product or process development. Medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology work experience is highly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks) and tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
