Job Summary: The Provider Recruiter works collaboratively with the Director, Provider Recruitment in planning and development of strategic provider & Advanced Practice Provider (APP) recruitment programs that ensures an adequate supply and distribution of provider and APP's in accordance with the strategic direction of the Warren Clinic Leadership.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Liberal Arts.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR), preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare Recruitment, Sales, Marketing or Public Relations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact with providers and a diverse audience throughout the health system. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Sources provider candidates through databases, advertising, and networking with professional organizations for providers, academic programs, other hospital-based recruiters, and recruitment organizations to ensure maximized results. Manages the selection, presentation, offer, negotiation and closing components involved in making provider hires. Develops a recruitment plan for each practice opportunity and investigates all leads for potential provider candidates. Investigates, evaluates, and selects resources for provider recruitment advertising. Develops and implements appropriate direct mail and telemarketing strategies for optimal results related to provider recruitment. Identifies and attends selected professional meetings related to provider recruitment needs to include: medical fairs, professional/medical meetings, special events and conferences. Initiates recruitment efforts with medical schools and training programs by personal visits, telephone contacts, arranging tours, education, etc. Demonstrates diversity awareness and utilizes sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations. Recruits APP's as well as providers. Develops action plans for aging requisitions and keeps management informed in a timely manner. Pre-screens provider candidates to ensure their interests in practice opportunity/area and ensures the provider candidate meets the minimum requirements of the practice opportunity. Maintains follow up with provider candidates to continue their interest in practice opportunities and troubleshoots possible problems. Conducts appropriate research activities as needed. Operates provider activities within the approved budget each fiscal year.

Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisor.

Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level and above.

Special Job Dimensions: Ability to work evenings and weekends. Capability to travel for events in and out of the state of Oklahoma.
