Job Description:

Introduction

Summary

Coordinates all aspects of unit rehab (i.e. time frames for completion scheduling of contractors, working with marketing & residents to coordinate move-ins). Manages the day-to-day operations of the property; maintain customer service standards and resident relations.

Responsibilities

Orders and maintains repairs on appliances for Independent Living units

Assists in completing work orders as assigned to repair and/or assists residents with general maintenance needs for residents

Conducts follow-up services to residents and coordination of contractors

Coordinates residents move-in and move-out with Marketing Department (walk through)

Participates in new resident orientation

Serves on committees involving residents and attends managers meeting

Assists in the preparation of operational budgeting

Processes and tracks Plant Operations invoices, and submits for payment

Schedules events and room locations, and coordinates room and equipment set up as requested

May coordinate deep cleaning with Housekeeping Supervisor for room/apartment turnarounds

May be assigned the responsibility of coordinating transportation needs for their location

May perform dispatch duties as a relief dispatcher, as assigned

Background and Qualifications

To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High School diploma or GED required, with prior experience in a related field.

Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet research.

Ability to plan, organize and execute departmental programs' objectives, policies, and procedures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The physical activities, demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift over 30 pounds and push/pull 100 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, sits and stands most of the working day. A well-lighted and ventilated working area that has its own temperature control system (air conditioning and heat).
