About the Role:
  • The Technician, Enrollment I is responsible for ensuring accurate enrollment of members into CareFirst member enrollment systems.
  • This role involves coordinating with various departments and client account contacts to ensure timely and accurate enrollment according to the account contract or service agreement.
Responsibilities:
  • Enroll subscribers and dependents for all lines of business via fax, U.S. mail, and/or e-mail
  • Verify enrollment status, make changes to membership records, research and resolve enrollment system discrepancies
  • Process membership terminations and other enrollment events
  • Complete monthly reconciliation process and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with the Account Installation team for member identification card process
  • Ensure enrollment updates are completed and audited before releasing member identification cards
  • Coordinate with the Billing Technician to process group enrollments prior to running the monthly bill
Education Qualification:High School Diploma or GED
