The ideal candidate is an experienced sales associate who possesses the skills and has demonstrated ability to ensure the smooth running of the retail sales floor. Principal responsibility is maintaining a highly positive customer experience through interactions and transactions with customers in our store as well as our staff. This includes a depth and breadth of product knowledge, the ability to transfer that knowledge, willingness to assist customers with their needs or problems, a solid working knowledge of the POS systems, and the ability and willingness to direct and supervise other sales associates to elevate the overall level of customer service that we provide to our customers.The Retail Lead will also be asked to do any number of following: merchandising, totaling of daily receipts, receiving product, processing warranty returns, general store maintenance, opening and closing the store, restocking, and placing special orders.RequirementsWork Experience:•Required: Previous customer service experience.•Preferred: 1-year retail sales in an outdoor specialty store.
