Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (international diplomas may need translation).
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
  • Ability to operate department equipment and obtain certification for silicone mill operation.
  • Must effectively communicate with peers and adapt to production needs.
  • Ability to multitask, read work orders, interpret specifications, and use measuring instruments.
  • Must write legibly, read, and speak English.
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs., and working in varying conditions.
  • Exposure to chemicals like Inproclean 3800, methanol, and silicone; proper PPE required, including apron, face shield, gloves, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs.

work hours: 10 PM - 6:30 AM

Responsibilities
  • Operate silicone extruders and ensure product quality.
  • Review production schedules and plan job duties accordingly.
  • Mill silicone, prepare products for extrusion, and set up extruders for various wrap types.
  • Cut samples and send them to the lab for quality control testing.
  • Measure and verify the outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness of products.
  • Record data for traceability and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean work area, follow safety regulations, and report production issues.


The essential functions of this role include:
