River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a part-time Tennis Building Custodian to its Tennis Department. The pay range for this position is $14 - $15 per hour. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club.

River Crest offers a great work environment as well as a 401(k) plan to qualifying part time employees. All employees enjoy Chef-inspired meals in our Staff Dining Room.

Schedule would generally be:

Monday - Thursday 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Saturday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm

JOB SUMMARY

The Tennis Building Custodian is responsible for all upkeep, maintenance, and cleaning of the tennis courts, tennis building, and all surrounding areas.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and member relation skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
  • Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.
  • Must have timely, reliable attendance.
  • Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS
  • Perform all duties for the upkeep of the tennis center as instructed by the Director of Tennis as well as the Tennis Shop Manager and the other Tennis Teaching Pros.
  • Perform daily cleaning of tennis areas such as:
    • Empty all trash
    • Vacuum carpet in shop and indoor courts, mop floors
    • Clean restrooms
    • Wipe down tables and chairs
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning of tennis areas.
  • Makes tea and coffee for members.
  • Restock supply of drinks, member snacks, towels, and toiletries in the restrooms.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning of tennis courts.
  • Perform daily upkeep of tennis courts to make them ready for play: blowing leaves and sweeping.
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor tennis furniture.
  • Clean and refill water coolers on the tennis courts with ice and water daily.
  • Periodically serves as tennis shop attendant when needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
  • Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things.
  • Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform duties in excessive heat and inclement weather.
  • Be able to work in direct sunlight and be responsible to protect themselves with coverage and/or sunscreen.
