SUMMARY:

Under the leadership of the AVP of Human Resources, the Recruiter is an active member of the Talent Acquisition Team in Human Resources who works to assist with the strategic vision, goals, and philosophy of Tift Regional Health System. Responsible for the research, development, and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Recruiter ensures that the employment strategies provide the ability attract and retain qualified employees. Refers qualified applicants to department managers for further interviews. Ensures new hires are scheduled for orientation/training. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process; attends and conducts interviews along with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process; identifies and recommends salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and System policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Uses sound Human Resource and Budget principles to provide quality services to the departments served.
  • Serves as a liaison between the Workforce Management Committee and the hiring manager.
  • Ensures the continuous readiness for survey by any and all regulatory agencies, including; Joint Commission, EEOC, CMS, and other governmental agencies.
  • Develops, communicates and supports retention initiatives, while tracking key turnover metrics.
  • Acts as a role model and steward to the shared vision, mission, values and service excellence standards of Tift Regional Health System.
  • Encourages staff and managers to provide input and make decisions to improve employee experiences.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrations, Human Resources, Nursing or related field with concentration in Human Resources required,
  • At least three to five years of HR recruitment experience preferred, experience in health care setting preferred, computer skills, ability to handle a variety of responsibilities with efficiency and organization, and maintaining excellent interpersonal skills.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-CP preferred
  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialist Credential a plus
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
  • Key skill set for this role includes, a high degree of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to negotiate, analyze, and multitask. Other skills include effective time management and attention to detail. Knowledge of technical skill sets
  • Previous recruitment experience required
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing required
  • Experience using candidate applicant tracking systems
