Healthcare Intake Specialist

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Healthcare Intake Specialist in our Gaithersburg, MD Home Health Office. We want you to apply your energy and skills in this dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and become an integral part of a caring, professional team that is instrumental in providing the highest quality care to our clients.Responsibilities:Provide superior customer service and quality home careFocus on managing coordination of client services and emergent scheduling issuesManage your Client Services caseload while proactively growing itBuild lasting relationships with clients, referral sources, payors and community organizationsDevelop strong, communicative relationships with the teamAssist in office responsibilities, running delegated operationsSupport director with managing 1:1 meetings with team membersMaintain effective fiscal management of your caseload by monitoring metrics (admissions, % Medicare, referrals rejected by reason, etc.)This role will partner with Clinical Managers to provide supervision and support to field employees Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredPrior knowledge of/experience with Medicare and OASIS a plusPrior medical office or home care experience preferredPrior supervisory experience or office management requiredDemonstrated record of successfully taking on increased responsibility (goal achievement)Ambition to grow and advance beyond current positionStrong computer skills required (electronic medical record)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhy choose BAYADA?BAYADA offers the stability and structure of a national company with the values and culture of a family-owned business.
