Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapist Job Specialty: Speech Therapist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday, Days Guaranteed Hours: 32 Experience: Not specified License: State License Required Certifications: CPR, MMR, Hep B or Declination, Tdap or Declination, Flu shot or Declination Must-Have: Rehab Optima Experience Preferred Job Description: - Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities.- Develop personalized treatment plans to address individual patient needs.- Implement therapy sessions to help patients improve speech and communication skills.- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.- Adhere to all credentialing requirements, including background checks and health screenings.- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in therapy.- Provide education and support to patients and their families. Credentialing Checklist Includes: - State License Verification- Resume and References (3)- County, Federal, Multi-State Criminal Search (7 years or more)- Nationwide Sex Offender Search (7 years or more)- HHS/OIG Search- GSA Search- Social Security Number Trace- 2-Step PPD or Quantiferon or Proof of Positive PPD and Chest X-Ray- SAM Search- Maryland State Background Position Urgency: Normal Bilingual: Not required Holiday Coverage Required: No
