Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator position will contribute to existing marketing programs and assist with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of digital marketing activities. S/he will communicate to customers through content copy, so an understanding of the company voice and customer will be key. Comfortable with customer service is important as s/he will respond to customers who engage through social media tags or posts. Ready to collaborate as s/he may work on projects with other teams within the company to ensure the messaging is correct. Have a creative and innovative approach to digital marketing that's highly organized and detail-oriented for handling many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Objectives
Assist in the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy and marketing plan
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
Provide market research, competitive analyses, and campaign results
Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including databases, tracking capability, and intranet sites
Essential Functions
Create dynamic and engaging content that aligns with the strategic objectives and brand standards to drive awareness, generate leads, and connect with audiences
Support the Marketing Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by setting objectives, planning and organizing presentations, and updating calendars
Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns and activities to meet deadlines and achieve set goals
Create, manage and implement social media strategy and content calendar communicating the company's mission
Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
Establish relationships and identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement on the company's social media accounts
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness
Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements and developing schedules
Support the Marketing Team in maintaining marketing materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

Essential Qualifications for Performing the Job –
Understanding of traditional and digital marketing practices. Experience in producing the array of content, copy, assets and more that is required across various marketing channels. Working knowledge of creating, scheduling, and measuring the performance of social content including analytics tools and reporting KPI, SEO, and web traffic metrics. Knowledge of emerging digital marketing trends
Essential Skills for Performing the Job –
Strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading. Efficient project and social media management. Proficient in business posts on social media especially for Linked In, Facebook, and Instagram. Basic capabilities for graphic design, email automation, Adobe, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) software. Multimedia production skills are a plus.

Self-motivated and proactive professional that's highly organized and detail-oriented, while able to adapt easily to change. Excellent critical thinking, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work with people and build relationships. Commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external audiences.
Required Education and Experience -
Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications with minimum 2-5 years of marketing, advertising, or public relations experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours -
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00AM to 5:00 PM.
Physical Demands -
This position is considered Sedentary. Spend the majority of the time in a typical office environment.
Travel
– Travel requirements for the position are minimal.
