The Cypress of Charlotte currently is recruiting for part-time Housekeepers to work every other weekend and one day a week at our upscale skilled nursing center located in the SouthPark area in Charlotte, NC. From the moment you step onto our community, you'll be greeted by our laid-back and welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration, creativity, and fun. With your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, you'll take pride in ensuring that our residents have a spotless and inviting home to relax and unwind in. Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper: * Performs cleaning services to residential rooms daily. * Performs scheduled deep cleaning of rooms. * Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items. High and low dusting, sweeps, dry and wet mops, vacuums carpets and rugs. * Cleans all bathrooms, scours, and polishes tubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment. * Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions. * Straightens and rearranges furniture, empty and washes wastebaskets. * Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have. * Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English. * Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift, and be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the workday. * Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push/pull on a cart. * Must be age 16 or older.
