Description
Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative assists with answering the phones, routing callers, customer service, administrative tasks and administrative marketing support.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Provides customer service in a timely manner via several means which include email, face to face interaction, and telephone.
- Maintains a positive and friendly tone with customers at all times.
- Answers customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team to ensure rapid support.
- Tracks proposed resolutions and follows up with customers in a timely fashion.
- Communicates customer feedback to various teams in order to improve the overall customer experience.
- Handles emergency requests and client escalations in a professional, customer-service focused manner.
- Performs any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
- Assists the Marketing Manager with marketing items and related marketing administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Abilities:
•Excellent communication and listening skills.
•Problem-solving ability and a customer-centric attitude.
•Basic knowledge of roofing, siding, and gutter industry.
•Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
•Extensive knowledge of office administration and proficiency with Microsoft and Google office software.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Friendly and empathetic demeanor.
•Exceptional problem-solving ability, backed by good judgment.
•Ability to respond to customer questions using social media.
•Ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
•Exhibits the ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a high-pressure environment.
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
•At least 2 years of administrative experience is required.
•Knowledge of marketing basics.
•Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably handling customer service, care, or success.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
